Member Instructors

Weston Shooters Club has every amenity that you need as an instructor to run a successful business. 

We have a clean range, a conference room, and food and drink.

Bring your student to Weston Shooters Club and show them how great the shooting sports can be!  The member-instructor only pays per hour for the lane. 
Ask us about how you may earn a commission if your student purchases a membership!

Members with instructor credentials may register as an instructor.

To register as an instructor, please submit your training credentials and insurance certificate on the Instructor Registration page.  You will receive an email notification when your registration has been processed, after which time you are free to bring students to Apex for training.  Your student will be required to sign a general release before shooting.

Weston Shooters Club welcomes member instructors to bring their students to Weston Shooters Club for lessons and training subject to the following terms:

1. Instructors must have a valid Massachusetts State Police Firearms Instructor Certificate.  Instructors must provide a copy of this certificate to Weston Shooters Club for review.
2. Instructors must maintain liability insurance with coverage minimums of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 Aggregate General Liability and Professional Liability.  The instructor’s insurance policy must name Weston Shooters Club, 8 Sibley Road, Weston, MA 02493 as an additional insured.  A certificate of insurance must be provided to Weston Shooters Club before instruction is permitted.
3. Each instructor and student must complete the standard Weston Shooters Club liability waiver.
4. Instructors and students must notify the management before entering the classroom or range.
5. Instructors and students must follow all instructions and commands given by any Weston Shooters Club management or Range Officer.
6. Group instruction requires prior authorization from Weston Shooters Club management.
7. Additional considerations such as the reservation of a bay, must be cleared and scheduled with Weston Shooters Club management in advance.
8. In the absence of a separate written agreement, instructors are not permitted to represent themselves as employees of Weston Shooters Club in any way.
9. Instructors acknowledge that though they do not officially represent Weston Shooters Club in any capacity, their demeanor, actions, and quality of instruction may reflect on Weston Shooters Club in the minds of their students and other members or guests of Weston Shooters Club.  Accordingly, all instructors must maintain themselves to the highest standard of safety, courtesy and professionalism at all times.
10. Any instructor may have their instruction privileges suspended or revoked at any time for any reason or for no reason.
