Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms Safety Certificate Course

Cost: $150

One 4-Hour Session

Includes live fire on the range

This is the class required to apply for a License To Carry (LTC) or a Firearms Identification Card (FID) in Massachusetts. Upon completion of this class, you will receive your MA Basic Firearms Certificate.

Curriculum includes:

• Firearm safety in the home and on the firing range
• Understanding the basics of handling firearms, including parts, nomenclature, and operation
• Identifying and loading/unloading of most common types of handguns
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Cleaning and basic maintenance

Guests can attend for free (including live fire) and will only pay if they want the LTC and GAASP certificate

Small classes and 1 on 1 live fire with instructor

Class taught in a comfortable boardroom with drinks and snacks included

Free lifetime recertification for any reason

$250 credit toward membership at the Weston Shooter Club
