Introduction to Remanufacturing Ammunition
Sunday, January 26th at 9am.
This class will be held offsite at the instructor’s shop in Sudbury.
A fun 4-6 hour class on loading pistol ammunition on a manual loading press.
From prepping brass, powder measure, and making complete cartridges, this class will go over making standard loads for everyday shooting, to custom loads in most calibers for competition, and comfort with the different calibers available.
It will review the equipment needed including different presses from single stage to progressive. Taught by one of our long-time members. the man who loaded the ammo for Weston during Covid!!
You will leave with all the knowledge to safely purchase and set up your loading press and the associated equipment.

- Preparation of Components- Inspection, Cleaning, and Polishing
- Different Powder Burn Rates
- Understanding Loading Charts
- Understanding each Component of the Cartridge
- Different Types of Loading Presses
- Setting Dies, Using calipers and Powder Measures
- Completing a Handful of Your Own Cartridges
- One box of Rounds to Take Home
