The Ruger 10/22 semiautomatic rifle is a “must have” item in any gun owner’s collection. It is the most popular rifle in America since its introduction over 50 years ago. A course designed to make you more comfortable with your Ruger 10/22 rifle. If you don’t have one yet we can make one available for the course.
| Prerequisites: | Massachusetts LTC or FID and your own Ruger 10/22 rifle. |
| Cost: | $150.00 including classroom instruction, range time, targets, 100 rounds of ammo, and all necessary safety equipment. |
| Time: | 3 hours including range time |
Curriculum includes:
- Familiarization and understanding all parts, operation, and functions of your Ruger 10/22
- Proper field stripping, cleaning, and general maintenance
- Marksmanship fundamentals including proper stance, shooting from a bench rest, and live-fire drills to enhance your shooting ability
- How to identify and correct the most common problems encountered including identifying and clearing malfunctions on the range
- Installing and zeroing an optical sight (red dot or scope)
All Weston Shooters Club Academy classes are limited to a capacity that will ensure that each student gets the individual attention they need to master the subject matter of the course during the allotted time. In addition to scheduled classes, private instruction is always available.
